An excellent plant for ladybirds, moths and birds. Red campion is a shade tolerant plant naturally found in woodland, hedgerow and open situations. In the garden it would be good in hedgebanks, under trees and shrubs, and at the back of borders. The pink flowers appear in spring and early summer.
